The Research
With data from astronomical catalogs such as the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) and the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope, I implemented statistical methods in Python to determine the correlation between, and evolution of, various bands of light from active galactic nuclei (AGN). I also analyzed the luminosity function and density evolution of these AGN. A repository of my code can be found here.

The Website
After my research ended, I decided to learn some HTML, JavaScript, and D3.js, so I spent a couple of weeks making a simple website ↗ from scratch that illustrated the Malmquist Bias, one of the important concepts of my research.
